FIELD: construction, particularly structural elongated elements designed for load-supporting, namely trussed baulks.
SUBSTANCE: baulk comprises upper wooden belt having rectangular cross-section, wooden posts and double-strip truss bar, which encloses upper belt of the baulk at posts. Upper belt extends along cylindrical surface with r≥b/2 radius so that cylindrical surface axis is arranged in baulk plane and is transversal to truss bar axis, here b is width of upper belt section. Both truss bar strips may be overlapped and connected with baulk posts through one bolt connection in areas of post contact with truss bar. Truss bar may be of annular shape. In areas of post contact with truss bar both truss bar strips may be turned through 90° and connected to baulk posts from below through bolt connection.
EFFECT: increased strength.
