DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC DETACHMENT OF FRONT COVER FROM LAUNCHING TUBE OF PORTABLE ANTIAIRCRAFT GUIDED MISSILE SYSTEM (PAGMS) Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F41F3/77 

FIELD: military equipment, in particular, antiaircraft missile weaponry.

SUBSTANCE: the device for automatic detachment of the front cover from the launching tube of the portable antiaircraft guided missile system (PAGMS) has a fixed body accommodating a pusher spring-loaded in the axial direction, one end of the pusher is coupled to the sear of the trigger mechanisms, and the other - to the remover of the front cover of the launching tube. The remover is positioned on the pusher for multiple installation and removal from the pusher. A spring-loaded ring with lugs is installed on the pusher for axial displacement and turn. The remover is made in the form of a bracket, whose one end is installed on the pusher for displacement relative to the latter and fixation from turn in a definite position, it is provided with a flange with grooves for engagement with the ring lugs. The other end of the bracket carries a clamp for axial displacement and turn relative to it, the clamp is provided with fixing components made in the form of screws and catches engageable with the lugs of the cover lock.

EFFECT: provided automatic removal of the front cover at a use of the launching tube of the PAGMS with a standard front cover without any modifications in the construction.
