FIELD: controlling pulsed voltage converters in off-line power supply systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves comprehensive use of zonal control principle for power supply system converters when sequential running of power-generating units is ensured due to dividing admissible variation range of controlled variable into effective zones determined for each device. Sequential operation of power-generating units is provided by organizing mutual impact of converter control devices which should operate sequentially to comply with power supply system functioning logic. Signals affording this impact are generated by demodulating direct and inverted pulse-width modulation of converter control signals. In the process direct and inverted control signals of k converter offset control level of (k + 1) converter toward its increase and those of (k - 1) converter, toward its decrease, respectively. Static precision of regulation with such control method is enhanced as devices incorporated in power supply system are operating within one zone in desired sequence.
EFFECT: enhanced static precision of regulation.
