FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used on self-propelled agricultural machines, electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, river vessels and other objects. Proposed cab has skeleton with bearing members, packs of noise-vibration-heat insulating members secured on skeleton, each including layers of bitumen-based vibration damping materials layers and at least one layer of porouse sound-absorbing material and perforated decorative panel, air gap being formed between panel and layer of porous sound-absorbing material. Packs of noise-vibration-heat insulating members are made either solid or consisting of components inscribed into contour of cab skeleton and consisting of front wall with slot perforation and rear wall made of stainless steel or zinc-plated sheet, 0.7 mm thick, with polymer protective and decorative coating, type PULAR, thickness 50 mcm. Ratio of height h of skeleton to its width b is within optimum range of values: h/b-1.0-2.0. Ratio of thickness s' of skeleton assembly to its width b is within optimum range of values s'/b=0.1-0.15. Ratio of thickness s of sound-absorbing material to thickness s' of skeleton assembly is within optimum range of values s/s'=0.4-1.0. Coefficient of perforation of front wall is taken equal to or more than 0.25.
EFFECT: improved comfort of cab and conditions of driver's operation.
