FIELD: mining, particularly to vent breakage face during mineral cutting with intensive gas emission.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises channels with gates secured under support unit roof behind mining machine in parallel to flight conveyor axis, fan installed on face-end support and exposed to fresh air stream and flexible elastic sealed shells. The sealed shells are made as cylinders with valves installed along side perimeter from both sides of each support unit. Device also has remote switch, which serially brings air-supply channels into operation as support unit moves forward, wherein the air-supply channels are arranged along side ends of each support unit from goaf side. The channels are provided with vertical perforation orifice rows facing goaf.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of goaf isolation, improved safety of mining operations and decreased coal cost.
