FIELD: amateur and sports fishing.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designing new fishing hooks. Proposed fishing hook has head, rod, neck, front, spike and bard. Rod is installed either vertically or at acute angle to vertical to the left from vertical axis of symmetry, and neck is of combination design: first it is made curvilinear in form of one wave of sinusoid. When changing upwards, front part is made at angle less than 90 degrees to horizon, and spike of hook has three bars: one along longitudinal axis of symmetry is bent inwards the hook and two others are symmetrically bent outwards so that angle is formed in between equal to or larger than 90 degrees. Two bars bent outwards are located higher than bard bent inwards the hook.

EFFECT: provision of reliable holding of fish on hook.
