FIELD: mechanical engineering; load handling equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to load-gripping devices designed for transport of aluminum ingots. Proposed contains carrying frame, unit to suspend device from hook of load-lifting crane and clamped mechanism of load-gripping members. Said clamping mechanism consists of geared motor into electric motor of which brake is built-in furnished with torque lever to prevent slipping, and sliders. Lever is fitted on key ends of two lead screws, one provided with right-hand thread and the other, with left-hand thread, arranged coaxially relative to each other in central part of carrying frame and connected with opposite ends of two lead screws for horizontal movement along guides rigidly secured on carrying frame parallel to lead screws. Load-gripping members are secured on ball rolling supports in inclined slots of sliders. Device is furnished with inductive sensor installed on rigid stop in upper part of carrying frame for fixing clearance between rigid stop of frame and unit of suspension. Device suspension unit is made for fitting and rigidly fixing hook of load-lifting crane and is spring-loaded by plate spring assemblies so that no clearance is left between rigid stop of carrying frame and unit of suspension when ingot is lifted. Device is furnished with slider motion sensors installed on inner ends of guides and load-gripping members contact sensors installed on sliders.

EFFECT: provision of additional clamping force and prevention of accidental moving apart of load-gripping members.
