FIELD: manufacture of aggregates for decorative concrete.
SUBSTANCE: proposed aggregate is used for decorative concrete articles which are made by preparation of concrete mix from portland cement, quartz sand and aggregate, molding, hardening for at least 28 days followed by sawing the articles into slabs or blocks and polishing their surfaces. Metal aggregate has cavity filled with colored cement-sand mortar which is hardened afterwards.
EFFECT: reduced density of articles at retained strength.
