SUBSTANCE: generator comprises turbine, end seal with slip rings, liquid lubricant pressure and thermal expansion compensator made as spring-loaded piston provided with rod at end thereof and filling device. liquid lubricant pressure and thermal expansion compensator passes in generator rotor and is connected to insert air-tightly fastened to lower cowl through body with magnets located in ferrule. The insert has concentric extension to limit piston travel and to transmit axial load to generator stator through bearings. Lower cowl interior surface has intermediate section, which connects section having greater diameter to that having lesser diameter. Bearing is installed in lower cowl section having greater diameter. End seal is arranged in lower cowl section having lesser diameter. Movable end seal part is pressed with nut through ring, which adjusts pressing force of slip rings included in end seal. Nut is restrained from rotation at lower cowl by means retaining ring. Ring adapted to adjust expansion clearance is installed between inner annular surface of lower cowl defined by intermediate section and outer bearing ring. Composite rotor sides are connected with each other and retaining rings are expanded between ends thereof so that the rings pass in slots formed in side ends.
EFFECT: increased service life and reliability, decreased maintenance time.
