FIELD: shipbuilding; equipment for raising the ships onto shore slipway and lowering ships from shore slipway.
SUBSTANCE: proposed dock has pontoon or pontoons to be ballasted and additional pontoon-pier which is also ballasted. Additional pontoon-pier has supports projecting from its bottom which enter inter-pontoon gaps or wells during lowering and raising the dock; these supports are secured at required height by means of retainers located in the said inter-pontoon gaps or in wells.
EFFECT: extended operational capabilities of dock.
