FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, auxiliary equipment for attachment of brush in conjunction with tube to vacuum cleaner bottom.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has first base positioned in lowermost part of vacuum cleaner main casing, second base connected with upper part of first base, opening delimited by part of first base, and placement part provided on lower part of second base and positioned flush within opening after placing of brush in conjunction with tube onto second base, said placement part being adapted for receiving of extendable tube catch. Rear end of placement part has supporting portion for connection to first base to increase its structural strength. Placement part has mounting opening for supporting of first and second bases, and first base has protrusion extending upward for insertion into mounting opening. Vacuum cleaner has first base positioned in lowermost part of main casing of vacuum cleaner, second base positioned on front part of first base, electric engine body positioned on upper rear part of first base, and dust collecting device fixed to upper part of second base. Tube for directing air drawn from other end of tube into dust collecting device is connected with its one end to main casing of vacuum cleaner. Catch is formed on tube for attachment of tube to main casing of vacuum cleaner. Vacuum cleaner is provided with placement part which is inserted into opening provided in first base upon attachment on second base for mounting of catch.

EFFECT: strong and reliable placement of brush during storage and transportation of vacuum cleaner and improved strengthening of multiple-level vacuum cleaner base.
