FIELD: veterinary.
SUBSTANCE: ethanol extract of mixture of different amount of grass and inflorescences of Echinacea purpurea, coltsfoot, creeping thyme grass, and licorice roots is used as biologically active stimulator. This stimulator is administered to calves to correct secondary immunodeficiencies in the form of 7-8% aqueous solution in doses 2.0-2.5 ml per 1 kg animal weight over a period of 10-15 days with intervals 24 h. Stimulator is administered in addition to injections Zoolan introduced intramuscularly in the form of 0.3% aqueous solution.
EFFECT: increased defense reactions of organism in clinically healthy calves, reduced treatment time and appearance of recurrences in unhealthy calves.
