FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with the ways of modeling depersonalization disorder and could be applied at testing new psychotropic preparations. In rodents one should detect pain thresholds of sensitivity (PTS) and endurance (PTE). Then, about 20-30 min before stress impact one should inject neurotropic preparation. In 15-25 min just before stress impact one should repeatedly measure PTS and PTE and subject the rodents to inevitable stress impact for 4-6 min. Moreover, one should register total duration of immobilization. About 2-10 min after finishing stress impact it is necessary to detect PTS and PTE. According to the character of the combination of immobilization duration and PTS and PTE alterations one should state upon rodents' sensitivity to stress and the degree of depersonalization. According to PT alterations between their first and their second measurements one should state upon the impact of the preparation upon pain perception, and between the third and the fourth PT measurements - upon the degree of stress-induced analgesia. The innovation enables to study the mechanisms of forming depersonalization disorder and elaborate the methods of its therapy.
