FIELD: measuring equipment, namely, digital thermometers, working with thermo-converters, representing measuring information in impulse form.

SUBSTANCE: digital thermometer contains thermal transformer, generator, counter, register, two AND elements and inverter, third AND element, OR element, three code-frequency transformers. Thermal transformer output is connected to first input of first AND element and to input of inverter, output of which is connected to first input of second AND element and output of counter is connected to input of register, output of which is the output of the device. Code inputs of first and second code-frequency transformers are code inputs of device, and code input of third transformer is connected to output of register, recording input of which is connected to output of thermal transformer. Frequency inputs of code-frequency transformers are connected to output of generator, and outputs - to second inputs of second, first and third AND elements respectively. First input of third AND element is connected to inverter output, output of second AND element is connected to adding input of counter, made with possible reverse counting, and outputs of first and third AND elements are connected to input of OR element, output of which is connected to subtracting input of counter. Invention ensures functional transformation of impulse information due to usage of frequency-impulse tracking system of compensating type, providing for uninterrupted fault-tolerant generation of result in accordance to polynomial function of thermal transformer.
