FIELD: chemical industry; other industries; methods of the devices of welding of thermoplastics.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the welding of the plastics and may be used at construction and mounting of pipelines made out of the thermoplastics. The method of welding provides for installation of the thermoplastic components in the clamping centering device, parting-off of their edges, introduction of the heating tool and the welding surfaces melting away. Then the heating tool is removed and the welding surfaces are conjugated under the pressure. The welded seam is cooled under the welding pressure in the conditions of formation around the welding seam of the closed space containing the heat-insulating medium. In the closed space around the welding seam create the rotational-translational circulation of the heat-insulating medium concerning the axis of the welded components. Conduct removal of the most heated part of the medium from the closed space in the radial direction from the welding seam. At that they conduct refreshment of the part of the medium of the closed space by the tangential feeding from the outside of the heat-insulating medium. The device for realization of the method contains the stand, on which there are one mobile and one stationary clamping rings, the detachable protective casing, the butt-welder and the heater. The casing is perforated in the area limiting the edges of the welded components. The detachable halves of the casing are made cylinder-conical. In the places of conjugation of the cylindrical and conical surfaces the casing has the tangential inlet openings and the internal annular wall. The invention ensures the constant protection of the welding seam from the adverse effects, the uniform distribution of the temperature field and formation of the cooling conditions close to the natural conditions.
