FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reagents changing intake capacity and/or limiting water inflows ad to technology of preparation thereof for use within periods of development and operation of oil deposits. Reagent, as defined in title, consists of alkali (KOH and/or KOH/NaOH mixture) saponified bottom residues from production of vegetable- or animal-origin fatty acids having titer 5-65 and containing no less than 0.05% of residual alkali according to solid residue. Starting bottom residue from fatty acid production contain no less than 40% of saponifiable portion of the solid residue. Saponification is carried out by mixing aqueous alkali solution with non-saponified bottom residue followed by heating to 85-95°C and maintaining this temperature for at least 3 h.
EFFECT: utilized inexpensive accessible raw material, allowed formation of its working emulsion within a broad temperature range, and prevented gelation of emulsion during at least a one day period.
