FIELD: agriculture, in particular, processes for minimal soil tillage by combining a number of pre-planting tillage operations and planting of roots on mountain and piedmont slopes.
SUBSTANCE: method involves mellowing and rotavating soil; cutting planting furrows; planting root tubers and covering furrows, with soil tillage and planting operations being provided in strips; performing slotting of plow layer to 18-26 cm depth on each strip, along axis of symmetry of each strip, by means of single apparatus; mellowing soil to 12-18 cm depth; rotavating across the entire width of each strip to 8-10 cm depth; cutting planting furrows and providing hill-drop planting of tubers to 6-8 cm depth; covering tubers by closing furrows; performing rotavation and tuber planting operations using rotavating drums and tuber planting unit connected with one another through synchronous drive from tractor power shaft.
EFFECT: creation of conditions most advantageous for accumulation of moisture in tilled strips having needed air and moisture permeability for providing plant feeding and vital activity.
