SUBSTANCE: freezer has ice-coverable cooling surface, for instance evaporator surface, heating device for cooling surface heating and control circuit, which controls heating device operation in dependence of timer. Control circuit may block heating device operation within time interval set by the timer. Timer provides cooling surface heating and defrosting only at the time of low cooling performance requirement.

EFFECT: decreased electric power inputs.
