FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for designing and producing photoreceivers for hydro-optic measuring channel which contains photoelectric multiplier. To stabilize characteristics of photo-electric multiplier ad to improve stability of their parameters under influence of environment, resulting in changes in amplification factor of photo-eclectic multipliers, light-emitting diode is used as reference radiation source. Time stability of light-emitting diode is as good as 2% during 40 hours of permanent operation. Active thermostat is designed and produced, which thermostat keeps temperature of case of light-emitting diode being equal to 44+-0,1°C.

EFFECT: improved degree of stability.
