FIELD: salvaging of charges of jet ammunition, applicable for processing of solid-propellant grains to a component of industrial explosives.

SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that the solid-propellant grain is completely or partially dipped into water and cut by a set of saws combined in a multisaw block into several plates, after that the obtained solid-propellant plates are crumbled by a grinding machine in a gap between two rotating rollers provided with a set of sharpened pins. The crumb of solid propellant is used for production of industrial explosives. The process complex has a machine for cutting the solid-propellant grains into plates and a machine for crumbing the plates. The machine for cutting the grains has a bath filled with water, a set of circular saws and dies for fixing the solid-propellant grains at cutting, they represent metal plates with a hole having the shape of the end projection of the solid-propellant grain. The machine for crumbling the plates has rollers with rows of sharpened pins radially positioned on their external surface, the rollers them selves rotate in the direction inside the gap between them, and the internal distance between them is so selected that the pins of each roller enter the gaps between the pins of the other roller, the radial rows of pins on both rollers are shifted relative to one another by a half of the pitch so that the pins enter the plate being ground of the solid-propellant grain in a staggered order from above and from below.

EFFECT: provided crumbling of the solid-propellant grain for further production of cheap but highly effective industrial explosives.
