FIELD: electric engineering and electro-mechanical engineering, possible use, in particular, in asynchronous electric motors of both common and explosion-protected realization with high degree of protection along shaft line during standby and with reliable protection from splashes during operation of electric motors in short term repeating mode.
SUBSTANCE: electric machine shaft packing, containing bearing shield and lid of bearing shield, in accordance to the invention, is made in form of a disk, on end surfaces of which circular grooves and shelves are made, which face bearing shield and lid of bearing shield, on which circular grooves and shelves are also made, which form an even, zigzag-like, explosion-impenetrable slit between the disk, bearing shield and lid of bearing shield.
EFFECT: increased reliability of electric machine, reduced friction losses and material costs due to simple manufacture of its shaft packing.
