FIELD: electrical facilities for checking and controlling operation of motor-driven oil pump; power-conductor-to-fuel-level-sensor junction.
SUBSTANCE: proposed connector block has hollow insulating shroud with ducts for passing conductors, locking members built integral with shroud of which one is made in the form of slightly bent strip along entire shroud to form gradual transition to contact surface of shroud, second locking member made on two sides of shroud, and orthogonal plate in the form of U-shaped clamp; each pair of four ducts passing conductors is separated for motor power circuit and for low-current circuit of fuel level sensor; separation of ducts is expressed in that two small ducts for low-current circuit accommodate conductors with contacts designed for pressure tests of conductors , maximum 0.35 mm2 in cross-sectional area; two other ducts for motor power circuit accommodate conductors with contacts designed for pressure tests of conductors, 0.5 to 1 mm2 in cross-sectional area. Block also has split locking member made of plastic in the form of flat rectangular base with semicircular through slots which is joined with butt-end of flat member provided with stepped slot at loose end.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of electrical connection between oil pump module power terminals and mechanical joints of conductors.
