FIELD: unprofessional and commercial rabbit farming, in particular, indoor keeping and rearing of animals.
SUBSTANCE: rabbit farm has carcass with roof, tiered cage batteries, and slurry channel. Carcass roof is positioned at an angle of 20-30 deg to horizontal plane and is furnished with warming means. Cage batteries are extending longitudinally of carcass, in spaced relation from it, said space being commensurable with width of cage. Opening formed in front part of carcass is provided with movable shields positioned one behind another, one of said shields being made from rigid material and there are slots above and under said shield. Other shield is made from elastic material, is shorter in length and fixed in front of shield made from rigid material. There is gap between said other shield and roof. Cage battery spacing and spacing between said shield and floor are commensurable with height of cages. Said gap and spacing are designed for providing air inflow.
EFFECT: improved animal keeping conditions by providing approximation to natural microclimate conditions at any time of the year.
