SUBSTANCE: according to first version, emergency illumination plant has base made of additional inflatable envelopes, which make airtight joint with support. Air cavities of envelopes communicate with air cavity of support. Additional inflatable envelopes are disposed around support beyond its borders in projection onto horizontal plane. Any envelope has aid for communication with area. Air pump is disposed in air cavity of any additional inflatable envelope or beyond its borders. The other version has all features of the first one except the fact that support is made in form of cone and central upper part of support, finding its place in area of vertex of cone, is connected with base by idler. Idler is extended at working position of plant. Method of driving emergency illumination plant into working and transportation position is based upon air supply into air cavity of envelope of inflatable envelope until envelope straitens when support switches from packed transportation position to vertical working position. Then air is bled from air cavity of envelope of inflatable support till reaching the packing position of envelope when it is driven into transportation position. During operation of illumination plant, eight of support is reduced or increased by increasing or reducing productivity of air pump.

EFFECT: simplified design; higher safety of plant; widened functional capabilities.
