SUBSTANCE: illuminated toothbrush comprises handle having transparent or semi-transparent parts for penetration of environmental light, head having cleaning members extending from its face surface, light-concentrating fiber lengths running from handle to head. At least one end of certain fibers is oriented toward outer surface of toothbrush head. Environmental light concentrated on fibers, along their length, through transparent or semi-transparent parts of handle, and emitted from fiber end may be seen by user looking at toothbrush or using it. Fiber end is terminated in the vicinity of cleaning members or bristles, or extends above face surface of head and terminates at working end of cleaning members or in the vicinity of it.

EFFECT: wider range of usage and improved mouth cavity hygiene.
