FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbine blade multiple-layer shroud.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of mounting of turbine blade shroud, said shroud 14 is provided with arc-shaped segments 23 arranged over circumference, each provided with separate inner member 28, intermediate member 30 and outer member 26 of shroud enclosing ends of several turbine blades 12. Each segment has radial holes spaced over circumference to receive pins 32 on ends of blades. Intermediate member is provided with space 46 or cavity formed between partitions 52 spaced circumference set by holes made in intermediate member to reduce weight. In finally assembled state, ends of pins are peened down automatically to hold members on blades, and excess material is removed by machining to provide smooth uninterrupted arc passing along ring outer surface. Spaces are limited by partitions 52, front edge wall 48 and rear edge wall 50 and inner and outer surfaces of outer and inner members, respectively.
EFFECT: increased tearoff force, improved sealing of shroud, reduced to minimum end leaks.
