FIELD: manufacture of airships.
SUBSTANCE: proposed airship has disc-shaped body consisting of upper and lower convex segments coated on the outside with elastic envelope and filled with bottles charged with lighter-than-air gas; airship has rigid load-bearing framework made from hollow load-bearing torus connected with load-bearing skeleton, lifting force control unit, control cabin and power plant. Lifting force control unit is made in form of lighter-than-air gas storage vessel located along vertical axis of upper segment and connected with lighter-than-air bottles through gas pump stations. Rigid load-bearing skeleton is made from bow-shaped horizontal, vertical and circular load-bearing trusses interconnected in such way that they form rigid framework of upper segment from several sectors together with lighter-than-air gas storage vessel. Cargo compartment is connected with load-bearing skeleton in such way that its position may be controlled vertically. Disc-shaped body of airship has protective envelope and rigid framework which form airship hanger.
EFFECT: increased cargo hoisting capacity; enhanced reliability and durability; simplified construction; reduction of material expenses.
