FIELD: mining, particularly rotary-percussion drilling tools used to drill hard and fragile rock having hardness exceeding 5 units, compression strength of 150 MPa and rock drillability index of at least 5 units.
SUBSTANCE: percussion device comprises outer bush 2, jet member 9 installed inside outer bush 2 and provided with a number of outlet orifices 90, as well as cylinder 10 arranged inside outer bush 2 and provided with inner cavity. Inner cavity of the cylinder 10 is divided into upper cavity 15 and lower cavity 16 by means of piston 11. The cylinder 10 has upper fluid deflection lid and lower lid, as well as power transmission mechanism 20. Cylinder 10 has side orifice 17 created in outer wall thereof. Side orifice 17 provides communication between one discharge orifice 90 of jet member 9 and lower cavity 16. Side orifice 17 is created in outer wall of cylinder 10 and is isolated from surface of inner wall provided in outer bush.
