FIELD: solar-electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed solar battery has concentrators installed on each separate cell of solar battery panel. Concentrator is built of two hollow truncates pyramids mounted one on top of other; smaller base of bottom pyramid functions as single solar cell and larger base of bottom pyramid, as smaller base of top pyramid. Reflecting surfaces of bottom pyramid faces and single solar cell plane constitute angle of 90°<α1<135°; reflecting surfaces of top pyramid faces and single solar cell plane constitute angle of 90°<α2<α1.
EFFECT: enhanced concentration factor at same photo-active surface area.
