FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed filter designed to protect miscellaneous electronic pieces of equipment against voltage surges in DC supply mains has series-connected choke and protective diode whose output is connected to capacitor plus and to load; second input of capacitor and load is connected to power inputs of transistor switch. Newly introduced in device are radio-noise filter, driver, current measurement unit, and varistor connected in parallel with power inputs of transistor. Second power input of transistor switch is connected to second output of current measurement unit whose input is connected to second output of radio-noise filter and to second input of control unit. First input of control unit is connected to first output of radio-noise filter and to choke input; output of control unit is connected to first input of driver whose second input is connected to first output of current measurement unit. Driver output is coupled with control input of transistor switch and radio-noise filter outputs are connected to power terminals of DC mains.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, enhanced reliability.
