FIELD: manufacture of building materials; production of binders.
SUBSTANCE: proposed binder mixed preliminarily with activated water at pH of 11.0-11.5 contains the following components, mass-%: caustic alkali, 4-6; expanded clay aggregate powder, 16-18; hemihydrated calcium sulfate, 4-6; the remainder being ground glass. Proposed method includes joint grinding of ground glass, expanded clay aggregate powder and hemihydrated calcium sulfate and mixing with activated water with caustic alkali dissolved in it.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of pure alkali component at retained high physico-mechanical parameters.
