SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 3.5-4.5; silicon, 2.5-3.5; manganese, 8.0-12.0; tin, 0.05-0.1; copper, 0.2-0.7; tungsten, 1.5-2.5; chromium, 4.0-5.0; titanium, 0.5-1.0; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced hardness of cast iron.
