FIELD: food-processing industry.

SUBSTANCE: hose-type netted wrap 1 for sausage and like products is characterized by longitudinally stretchable structure and has longitudinal rupture thread 3 having length exceeding that of netted wrap 1 when the latter is ready for consuming. Owing to that, at least one loop 7 is formed to be gripped from the outside of netted wrap 1. Ends 14 of loop 7 are connected to wrap portions which, when wrap 1 is in stretched state, are spaced apart from each other by greater distance than when it is in state ready for consuming. Netted wrap 1 is preferably warp-knitted cloth manufactured using Raschel-knitter or warp-knitted fabric. Rupture thread 3 is gripped into knitted loops of this warp-knitted fabric. Such embodiment of netted wrap 1 allows opening of said wrap to be simplified. Also, method for manufacture of netted hose for such a netted wrap, sausage casing covered with said netted wrap, and food (sausage or like product) covered with such a wrap are disclosed.
