FIELD: supports for flatware such as knives, spoons and forks.
SUBSTANCE: support has casing with guides and supporting surfaces for knife blades, spoon handles, fork handles. Casing is defined by base with handle and bundle of individual vertical, rigid rods, each comprising upper end surface, lower end surface, and side surface. Upper end surfaces of rods are formed sharpened or convex in order to provide easy insertion of blades or handles into guides. Lower end surfaces are placed onto base. Rods are held in bundle by means of at least one springy member embracing said bundle. Handle is defined by at least one rod fixed to base and protruding upward, beyond upper end surfaces of rods. Guides and supporting surfaces are delimited by side surfaces of rods or side surfaces of rods and surface of base engaging with lower end surfaces of rods.
EFFECT: prolonged service life, wider range of geometrical sizes and shape of flatware placed onto support, and convenient usage and servicing.
