FIELD: packing means, particularly strapping tape, namely combination of mechanical lock made as strapping tape with product code.
SUBSTANCE: strapping tape has the first face and the second face. The first strapping tape face is made of thermoplastic material shaped as strips with hooks having the first and the second sides. Hook-shaped extensions are made on the first strip side. The extensions at least partly define the first strapping tape side. The second strap side is made as film provided with UPC code printed thereon. The UPC code may be read through the first face of the strip.
EFFECT: increased usage convenience and simplified production.
