SUBSTANCE: the present innovation refers to the technology for preparing fresh citrus fruit for storage for their subsequent usage in cosmic nutrition. The inspected citrus fruit at the preset mode parameters should be washed in drinking water to be successively kept in the solutions of potassium permanganate and citric acid and in the suspension of the preparation obtained out of Mortierella jenkinii micromycete biomass according to the preset technique, cover fruit stem and adjacent surface with medicinal glue followed by the impact of ultraviolet irradiation. Then one should pack them by the piece into cigarette paper to put into polymer trays. The innovation provides prolonged terms for storing citrus fruit up to 45 d to be applied in cosmic nutrition.
