FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with subcutaneous injection of Dectomax at the dosage ranged 0.5-1.5 ml/50 kg body weight once weekly for the period of 2 wk and external treatment with 0.0015%-aqueous solution of Mustang-100 preparation once weekly for the period of 2 wk. Moreover, it is necessary to apply purified sulfur at the dosage of 0.1 g/10 kg body weight for the period of 3 wk, the ointment Metrogil gel which should be applied with a thin layer twice daily, in the morning and in the evening for the period of 3 wk, additionally one should intramuscularly inject immunomodulator once weekly for the period of 2 wk. The innovation enables to match acaricide preparations at low level and exclude possible complications while treating demodecosis in dogs.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
