FIELD: ceramics, facing materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of glazes used for applying on facing plate, tiles and articles of household ceramics. Proposed glaze comprises SiO₂. Al₂O₃, Fe₂O₃, CaO, MgO, K₂O, BaO, ZnO, ZrO₂ and, additionally, B₂O₃ and CoO taken in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: SiO₂, 57.0-61.0; Al₂O₃, 2.0-4.0; Fe₂O₃, 0.1-0.3; CaO, 7.0-9.0; MgO, 1.7-2.7; K₂O, 3.5-4.5; BaO, 1.0-2.0; ZnO, 8.0-10.0; ZrO₂, 4.5-5.5; B₂O₃, 6.5-8.5, and CoO, 0.5-1.5. Invention provides enhancing thermal stability of glaze.
