FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of discrete combustion of biomass and producing fuel gas for boiler equipment. Proposed method makes it possible to change over from liquid oil fuel to solid organic fuel without replacement of boiler unit at industrial generation of heat. High efficiency of existing boilers is preserved, their heat capacity is not reduced and consumption of solid organic fuel (biomass) is optimized. Such result is obtained owing to developed method of discrete combustion of biomass and production of fuel gas for boiler equipment including delivery of fuel from hopper where raw material is kept into biomass combustion device in which tangential air feed is organized. Used as raw material can be solid organic fuel. Biomass is combusted and fuel gas formed at final stage of process is delivered into furnace of boiler unit.
EFFECT: optimization of consumption of solid organic fuel (biomass).
