SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing a composition used in treatment of cardio- and cerebrovascular diseases and fundus of the eye diseases. Also, invention relates to a composition for injection used in treatment of cardio- and cerebrovascular diseases and diseases of fundus of the eye that represents lyophilized powder for injection prepared from Ixeris sonchifolia Hance herb. Method involves preparing a decoction, its concentrating, treatment and filtration up to the definite ratio of flavone and adenosine followed by lyophilization. Also, invention relates to a method for preparing the composition for injection that includes boiling out Ixeris sonchifolia Hance pure herb, filtration, microfiltration and concentrating, cooling the concentrated decoction and bringing up pH value to 10-11 followed by filtration and weighting a precipitate. Then precipitate is resuspended pH value is brought up to 3-4 and then to pH 7-7.5 and addition of sodium hydroxide solution to the solution followed by filtration, removing ethanol from filtrate and its traces by evaporation, adding water for injection, cooling, filtration, boiling in the presence of activated carbon and keeping for 24 h and more. Then solution is filtered, pH value is brought up to 7.0-7.5, filtered through cardboard, Büchner funnel and microporous membrane, sealed and sterilized. Then stabilizing agents are added to extract or accessory agents later and stirred up to complete dissolving followed by treatment by addition of activated carbon for injection and filtered. Prepared clear apyrogenic solution is poured into vials or ampoules, incubated, treated under vacuum, dried to the definite final temperature to obtain lyophilized powder for injection prepared from Ixeris sonchifolia Hance. Above described composition for injection is effective in treatment of cardio- and cerebrovascular diseases and for diseases of fundus of the eye and prepared as a stable form.
