FIELD: aircraft industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine for flying vehicle contains external loop made in form of ring channel and internal loop with compressor connected to its drive and with combustion chamber and afterburner. Engine is provided additionally with fairing arranged after compressor consisting of fixed part secured on wall of inner loop and part movable along engine axis. Compressor drive is gas-turbine engine arranged in flow path of inner loop.
EFFECT: increased economy of engine at subsonic speeds of flight, reduced weight.
