FIELD: textiles; paper.
SUBSTANCE: packaging for tobacco products consists of parallelepiped pack, which opens from the top and accommodates a bunch of tobacco products, and hollow protective parallelepiped element, which can substantially accommodate part of the pack without clearance. The protective element can be folded equally into a closed configuration, in which it is piped and plain, and into an open form, in which it is piped and hollow and has a parallelepiped form for substantially accommodating the pack of tobacco product without clearance. The protective element has four plain panels, bounded by fold lines that form edges of the hollow protective element in the open form. For changing the configuration of the protective element from the open to the closed form and otherwise, the mentioned plain panels can be turned relative each other about the fold lines. The protective element is folded in the closed configuration and is detachably attached to the pack. Each large side wall of the protective element has a height less than the width of the large side walls of the pack. Therefore, in the closed configuration, the protective element is shorter than the pack and can be detachably attached to the pack.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance of the cigarette pack and the pack is cheap and easy to manufacture.
