FIELD: electric power engineering; design of reinforced concrete foundations for power transmission line supporting structures.
SUBSTANCE: foundation for free-standing supporting structures of power transmission lines, mainly for power transmission lines with narrow base, includes vertical pipe driven into soil with at least two fins oriented along the pipe and made in the form of plates fastened to said pipe opposite one another. In the upper part said pipe is equipped with a pad to install supporting structure or pile of power transmission line, and fins along the pipe are fastened to the pipe in its upper part being tapered to the lower part of the pipe and having length no more than 1/3 of the depth of pipe driving into the soil.
EFFECT: improvement of foundation performance; improvement of foundation upset resistance.
