FIELD: aircraft operations.
SUBSTANCE: method implies warning at the moment air vehicle potentially gets into danger area of generators vortex wakes. The system provides analysis of the air vehicle environment, determines path and intensity of generators vortex wakes in the vicinity of air vehicle, intersections coordinates of vortex wakes with reference plane and geometrics of their danger areas on basis of danger criteria defined by user. Virtual reference plane is arranged at anticipatory distance towards air vehicle route, evaluated on basis of selected anticipatory period long enough for air vehicle to make an escape maneuver. Within reference plane the system forms high attention area, expected air vehicle position area and danger areas of vortex wakes for predictable point of time. Then it tracks intersections of high attention area and/or expected air vehicle position area with danger areas of vortex wakes and by means of display device and visualizer attracts user's attention to this event.
EFFECT: flight safety improving.
