FIELD: means of transport.

SUBSTANCE: method includes cross controlling of direct and side channels in automatic control system. For this purpose, assigned normal load signal is generated as a signal proportional to a product of vertical speed signals and absolute value of given bank angle signals. This signal is taken negative if absolute value of bank angles is less 80°, and equal to zero if bank angle is within 80° to 100°. The signal is taken positive if absolute value of bank angles is more than 100°. Signal of assigned bank angle value is generated as a signal proportional to vertical speed but with a sign corresponding bank angle sign at the moment when aircraft control is switched to horizontal flight mode should the sum of given bank angle signals and angular spin rate signals not exceed signal of 180° bank angle by absolute value. Otherwise, the sign of given bank angle value signal is changed to opposite. In addition, automatic throttle is engaged into control circuit to control indicated airspeed at the moment when aircraft control is switched to horizontal flight mode.

EFFECT: improvement of flight safety by reducing time of aircraft bringing to horizontal flight mode and decrease of probability when aircraft flight is in area of rated indicated airspeed values.
