FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: hoist comprises several solenoids assembled serially inside of which a flexible element runs; the said element contains alternating portions of two types of permeance, that is permanent magnets and diamagnetics. When electrical power is supplied to a corresponding solenoid the permanent magnet is drawn inside the solenoid and moves the flexible element. Magnetically operated sealed switches control power supply to solenoids; the said switches are beyond magnetic fields of solenoids and are locked with permanent magnets of the flexible element.
EFFECT: increased reliability of a hoist due to exclusion of mechanical components under load prone to wear.
