METHOD OF MEDICAL TREATMENT OF ACUTE EPIDIDYMITIS ETIOLOGY OF DIFFERENT ETIOLOGY Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61N5/67 A61K31/167 A61P15/00 

FIELD: medicine; urology.

SUBSTANCE: antibacterial therapy is performed. During 3-5 days of preoperational period patient is additionally prescribed with laser therapy of frequency 3000 Hz, wave length 0.86 mcm, radiation power 10 mW every day during 10 minutes. In postoperative period laser therapy is prolonged for 5-7 days in combination with additional intravenous infusions of perphalgan dosed 100 ml twice a day in number 4 to 6 infusions. Method enables to maintain hormone-productive function of ipsilateral testis, prevent complications, facilitate surgery process and completely terminate pain syndrome in postoperative period.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of acute epididymitis surgery combined with maintained hormone-productive function of ipsilateral testis.
