SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates and relates to glass compounds, which can be used for making light scatterers, leaded panes, decorative-art products and graded vessels. The glass consists of the following components with the given percentage mass ratios: SiO2 69.5-74.5; CaO 7.0-9.0; Na2O 9.0-13.0; K2O 3.0-4.0; CeO2 1.0-2.0; Fe3O4 0.2-0.3; Sb2O3 0.2-0.3; BaO 3.0-4.0.
EFFECT: increased refraction index of the glass.
