FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: device is intended for axial discharge of liquids, particularly, blood. The discharge part of the device is located fully in the magnet suspension and supplemented with a radial suspension, which provides a sufficient rigidity and damping. This design resolves problems of critical speed of flow and negative consequences of hydrodynamic and mechanic unbalance of rotor. The magnetic suspension is supplemented with hydrodynamic suspension in the form of, at least, one cylindrical supporting ring with rotational symmetry fixed at the discharge element. Supporting rings are located at the beginning and/or at the end of rotor or between these positions.
EFFECT: resolving of problems of critical speed of flow and negative consequences of hydrodynamic and mechanic unbalance of rotor.
