FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: flush water is channelled into a storage tank, and then later pumped into a precipitation tank for separation of the given water into a deposit, directed for recycling, and the cleaned water. Into the storage tank, flush water is channelled, which would have formed in a period of four minutes from the beginning of washing the filters and/or clarifiers of the water treatment plant. Pumping through the pipeline is done at speed of the stream of 2-5 m/s. The pipeline is spiral shaped, and the time the water spends in the precipitation tank is about 30-50 minutes. In the pipeline there are about 6-22 field sources at a distance of 0.4-2.5 m from each other. The distance is measured on the length of the spiral pipeline stretched into a straight line. The field sources are used for treating the flush water through a constant electrostatic field with intensity of 4-20 kV/m when the flush water is being pumped in the pipeline. The field sources are shielded from the flush water.
EFFECT: obtaining of clear water and a deposit with low moisture without use of reagents; lower consumption of electrical power; reduction of the number of technological operations and reduction of labour expenditure of service personnel; lowering of the surface area of the treatment facilities.
